After a less than restful sleep, we set off at about 4:30. We decided there was no need to stop again and that we should power through to Park City. The highlight of the day was watching Kari try to reassemble the lid to her new Hydro Flask coffee mug. I have no idea how or why it was disassembled in the first place. As she’ll attest, she’s not particularly mechanical, so chores like this can keep her busy for hours.
We jammed on some Van Morrison as we entered Wyoming, bringing back memories of his concert in London’s Kew Garden’s that we saw last month with our best buddies Karen & David. We marveled at the expansive Wyoming snow fences, and passed through some amazing cloud formations.
Since we had decided to drive in just 2 days as opposed to 3 or 4, we needed to find a place to stay in Park City to get us to our weekend hotel reservation. We reserved a spot on the go at the Wasatch Mountain State Park just outside town where we spent 2 nights. It was fantastic, check it out:
