We leisurely packed Shirley up and headed for Oregon. The route took us through the remaining portions of Redwood National Park. It was a cool, cloudy, misty day as you'll see from our first glimpse of the Oregon coast below.
Whenever we move on I have a tradition of playing Tom Petty's "Time to Move On", one of my favorite tunes of his. Check it out, it's perfect: https://youtu.be/pDPq1QbGAAk
Our listening also included Burna Boy's new album "Love, Damini", and DOMi & JD BECK's recent release "NOT TiGHT" (yes the sp is correct). We stopped for lunch at a cool sushi joint in Brookings, https://pacificsushi.com and wound our way to Harris Beach State Park, one of Oregon's finest, where we'll spend five nights. It's set right on the coast and is known for its picturesque coastline. We're trying to get used to all these fantastic views, trust me, it ain't easy! We set Shirley up and spent a quiet night in our hood, dining on grilled chicken and catching up on some news.
Another good day...Kari added another state to our map.
